Brand & Content
defined once, applied everywhere

A voice that sounds like you, applied consistently.

Most brand problems are not design problems. They are the accumulated result of a hundred small decisions made by different people at different times with nothing written down to align them. The logo is rarely the issue; the fact that nobody can say what the company sounds like usually is.

So we define the voice before producing at volume. What you claim, who you are claiming it to, which words you use and which you refuse — written down clearly enough that a new hire, a freelancer and an AI draft all land in the same place.

How we run it

The Brand & Content engagement

Three stages, in this order. The sequence is the part that matters.

  1. 01

    Find the actual position

Interviews with the people who talk to customers, a read of how competitors describe themselves, and the honest question of what you can defensibly claim. A position any rival could copy word for word is not a position.

  2. 02

    Build the system

Identity, typography, colour, tone of voice and messaging hierarchy — documented as rules with examples rather than adjectives. “Confident but approachable” guides nobody; a before-and-after pair does.

  3. 03

    Produce against it

Social, video, email and lifecycle content produced to the system on a regular cadence, with the guidelines revised whenever reality outgrows them. Documentation that is never updated stops being used within a quarter.

Is this you?

Usually worth a conversation if

If none of these sound familiar, a different discipline is probably the better starting point — and we will say which.

  • Your assets do not look like they came from the same company
  • New hires and freelancers each write in a different voice
  • A rebrand started, stalled, and was never fully rolled out
  • Your copy could be swapped with a competitor's and nobody would notice

Questions

About Brand & Content

Pricing, timelines and how engagements run are answered on the services overview.

Do we need a full rebrand?

Often not. A surprising number of brands that feel broken just need a messaging framework and the discipline to apply it — the identity was fine, the consistency was missing. We will tell you if that is your situation, even though the smaller piece of work is the smaller invoice.

Who actually writes the content?

Our team, working to the approved framework, with your subject-matter experts interviewed rather than asked to draft. The expertise you already have in the building is usually the difference between content that sounds credible and content that sounds like everyone else's.

Can we use AI to produce content faster?

For drafting, research and repetitive variants, yes — and we will set that up properly. Published unreviewed, it produces exactly the generic copy this work exists to avoid. The system decides the voice; AI can help fill it, not define it.
